Jack Hood arrived at Victory Pro Wrestling with a statement already made. A member of The Standard alongside Rey Connor and Romulus, Hood is part of one of the most formidable factions on the British independent scene — a trio united by a cold, calculated belief that they operate at a higher level than everyone else around them. Hood has backed that belief up with results, having competed across NGW, DCW, UKWA and Victory Pro Wrestling, building a reputation as a tough, reliable performer wherever he has appeared. But it was at VPW's Headstrong event where he truly announced himself — winning the Road to Victory Gauntlet and cementing his status as one of the promotion's most dangerous rising forces. The Standard doesn't do things by half measures, and neither does Jack Hood. The Gauntlet win was just the beginning — and the rest of the VPW locker room would do well to take notice.
