Birmingham’s own “The Diamond” Robert Buckley has wasted little time making his presence felt on the British independent wrestling scene. Making his in-ring debut in August 2025, Buckley was trained by Alex Connors, Luke Douglas and Marshall X before establishing himself as both a singles competitor and one half of the Second City Diamonds alongside Gabe Naughton. Representing the Second City with confidence, attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, Buckley and Naughton have quickly become a recognised partnership across the Midlands wrestling scene. The Diamonds have competed for promotions including Victory Pro Wrestling and Wrestling In Hinckley, with Buckley also stepping into singles and multi-man competition during his young career. At Victory Pro, the Second City Diamonds arrived with championship gold around their waists as Everywhere World Tag Team Champions, defending the titles against the Future Killers at Feel The Heat in July 2026. Standing 5'10", Buckley combines physicality with an explosive finishing arsenal, including the Angle Slam and the aptly named Diamond Cutter. Still early in his career but already accustomed to championship-level competition, “The Diamond” is looking to make sure the name Robert Buckley — and the Second City Diamonds — remains impossible to ignore.
